KW-RASC is hosting a star party observing event at Conestogo Lake Conservation Area, under a Bortle 4 sky. It will be either on Friday August 7 or Saturday August 8, depending on the weather forecast. A final decision will be made late on Wednesday August 5, so watch here for an update with our exact plan. The conservation is a pleasant hour's drive from KW and offers a much darker sky, including views of the Milky Way.
