The Canada Safety Council Babysitters course is designed to teach youth how to be successful babysitters. They will learn about child development, basic first aid, and handling situations. Topics include: - Caring for children from three months to school ages - The behaviour and misbehaviour of children - Handling emergencies - Caring for a sick or injured child - Prevention and basic first aid Youth taking this course must be at least 12 years old as of December 31, 2026.
