Prerequisite: National Lifeguard Pool (need not be current) National Lifeguard, as provided by The Lifesaving Society, is Canada's only nationally recognized lifeguard certification program. National Lifeguard is a legal certificate for lifeguarding throughout the country and is recognized by the province of Ontario for lifeguarding public swimming pools. National Lifeguard must be recertified every 2 years. All candidates must bring valid proof of identity. Options include: Driver's Licence, Passport, Photo Health Card, Birth Certificate
