Through classroom learning, in-water practice and volunteer scheduled hours, the Lifesaving Society's assistant instructor course prepares candidates to help certified instructors with swimming and lifesaving classes. This course provides an introduction to swimming instruction and some of the key competencies required for successful teaching.
