Community Guidelines

Effective and last updated August 19, 2026 · Version 2026-08-19

KIDO should help families make informed choices without putting children at risk. These Guidelines apply to comments, ratings, feedback, shared content, organization content, and other contributions to KIDO.

1. Protect children’s privacy

Do not post a child’s full name together with identifying details, live or routine location, school or childcare schedule, private contact information, health information, account credentials, or other sensitive information. Share a child’s image only when you have the necessary authority and consent. Report exposed child information promptly.

2. Be truthful and useful

Describe your own experience or information you can reasonably support. Do not fabricate reviews, manipulate ratings, impersonate another person or organization, conceal a material conflict, or knowingly post false availability, price, safety, or registration information. Providers should correct material listing errors promptly.

3. Treat people with care

Do not threaten, harass, bully, shame, exploit, or target people based on protected characteristics. Do not post sexual content involving minors, grooming content, instructions for abuse, credible threats, or content that encourages harm. Contact emergency services when someone faces immediate danger.

4. Keep contributions relevant

Do not spam, repeatedly promote unrelated services, post deceptive links, distribute malware, or use community features to solicit private information. Organization promotion belongs in accurate Organization listings and approved provider features.

5. Respect rights and the law

Post only material you have the right to use. Do not expose private information, infringe intellectual property, evade access controls, interfere with KIDO, or use the service for fraud or another unlawful purpose.

6. Moderation

KIDO may review, label, limit, remove, or preserve content and may restrict an account or Organization role when reasonably needed to apply these Guidelines, protect people, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Context, severity, repetition, and risk affect the response. KIDO may refer credible safety or legal concerns to an appropriate authority.

7. Report or request review

Use KIDO’s Feedback control or email support@kido.events to report content. Include the listing or page and a short explanation. If KIDO limits your content or access, you can request a review at ben@kido.events. Do not include unnecessary child or health information in a report.
