Reading Buddies

Sometimes reading is better with a buddy! This 45 – 60 minute program is designed for reluctant readers who have learned the reading fundamentals but need additional practice to read at grade level. We’ll practice reading one-on-one with volunteer buddies, and develop our literacy skills through engaging and fun literacy games and activities. Grades 1-4 Registration is required and opens Monday, August 31 at 7 pm. Registration is for the entire 7-week series. Children age 9 years old or younger are required to have a designated caregiver who must remain in the library during the program....
